Okay, I didn’t give birth or anything….however I really wish I had that excuse for my nearly 2 months of no blogging…but Ben and I are now the proud owners of a Noritsu DP100 printer which means we have a mini digital lab right here in the lounge! I’m so excited that I can hardly stand it. We have been working so much on other other stuff that we haven’t had too much time to play just yet. As soon as we get back from Memory Trends, we’re going to start beta testing the software with a few of you lucky digi scrappers and then we’ll open it up for everyone to use!

Tomorrow is our second Hot Potato Friday. It’s so nice that we’re on a schedule now. I can’t wait to start more regular chats and challenges. And a design team call will be coming soon…so stay tuned!

On Saturday, we had our first hands-on classes in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Area. All in all, the classes worked really well! I feel like everyone left with a much better understanding of how Phototshop Elements works and they all completed their first scrapbook page. It was very exciting to see it all come together. I can’t wait until the classes this Saturday. It’s just so cool to see people get excited about digital scrapbooking! Here are some pics that I took today of the lounge. On another note, we just got through our first {and hopefully last} hosting change. We just switched to Host Gator which appears to be excellent so far. We still have a few kinks to get out but hopefully we’ll have that all figured out soon and we’ll be back in full swing. I have LOTS of product to get on the web…Digital, software and some other fun goodies. Plus, we’re getting ready for our End of Summer sale that starts in just 5 days. It never ends!!

Well, I’m back from Atlanta. I had a great time. Now I’m just playing catch up! I have a pile of laundry bigger than my king size bed to put up…So I’ve made a deal with myself…I do a good sized pile, then I read someone’s blog or update my own :) It’s going to be a long night…I can already tell.
First off, the grand opening ends tonight. I can’t wait to see who won all of the goodies! I’ll post the results soon. It’s not too late to take advantage of the sale…but you gotta HURRY!! www.polkadotpotato.com

Well, the grand opening is well underway. It’s been a total blast and a total learning experience. I have been running non-stop for days now…but it’s all good. I had such a great time at CHA…I’ll update my personal blog with all of those details: www.ashleyksmith.blogspot.com. Meanwhile, Ben and I are frantically getting the PDP designers product updated and new fun stuff on the site.
A couple of things to note…
First, the SPUD CLUB will be shipping in just a couple of weeks. You don’t want to miss this!! It’s the first of its kind Kit Club that includes a tangible product, real 3-d embellishments AND digital art. It has something for everyone! Kim Crothers and Petra Losbichler are doing the digital art and so far, the response has been great. You’ll have to check it out!

Well, I have not been nearly as productive as I had hoped today…mostly because we were in the E.R. with Gracie until 3 am. She had a horrible case of croup and she needed a little special treatment. This was actually my first time in the hospital with any of my kids so it was a bit scary…especially since she’s still so little.
I got a late start today but I’m trying to make it up tonight. I did manage to get one of Summer’s new kits up on the site. It’s another masterpiece. Ben has been banned to the office until the message board is done so with some luck, we’ll have the site working in its entirety. Of course, how long have I been saying that? {…think positive thoughts…think positive thoughts…}

Well, I came home from my vacation with an in-box {FULL} of fun new stuff.
